Everlasting Flux
2023-2025
In this photography work, I position myself as the performer, portrayed in a fluid and shifting way to escape the absurd, imposed eternity, constructed by patriarchy. In film and television, women's bodies are often presented fragmented, reduced to vague concepts of gender, physical features, and implicit invitation to nudity. An eternal space is constructed to contain such figures - rendering them flawless, static and unreal. Everlasting Flux is my approach to reclaiming the body within a dynamic space, maintaining its completeness, and rejecting fragmented representation.
